A Day In My Life - Safaripark Beekse Bergen 23-10-15

Hello Everybody,

So recently, when it was still the autumn holiday, I went somewhere with my family. And if you have read the title already, then you'll understand where this article is going to about. Because, I had been to Safaripark Beekse Bergen.

It's like a zoo but the difference is that you can use your own car or just by the tour bus which they have in the park, and just ride through the whole park. But there are only animals that originally lives in Africa (Safari). So that's why it called the safaripark and not a zoo. Beekse Bergen is just a place in the Netherlands.

There are three tours: a tour with your own car (or bus), a tour on a boat and a walk tour. We started with the car tour, then the boat tour and in the end we just walked in the park. It was a lovely day and it was amazing. It was my second time in the park because the first time I went to the safari park, I was very little so I know nothing about it anymore. So that's actually the reason why we went again. However I will stop typing stuff and let you just enjoy the pictures I took. Enjoy ~

And without a picture from yourself, you aren't officially been there.

Because they were so cute and we went for celebrating my birthday, I decided I really wanted a souvenir.

After buying the souvenirs, it was already five o'clock, closing time, so we went back home. I had a really great day and I truly recommend it. Hope you enjoyed the pictures and have a nice day!

I wished that there are trousers on earth with on the inside as comfortable as sweatpants and on the outside as amazing looking as jeans. That will be really cool. Short sleeves because if it's too cold, you can just wear a vest above it but if you are wearing long sleeves, you can't rip off your sleeves because it's way too hot to wear long sleeves. Scarves before hats is because I just can't handle hats, but if the choice was beanies, o then it will be really difficult to choose. *laughing* Necklaces not because I don't like bracelets, it's just that my wrists are way too thin that each bracelet I wear almost falls from my wrist. I´m someone who falls a lot, so it´s not wisely to wear heels. Yes, sometimes I will wear it to a party or weddings but usually just give me a pair of all stars. :)

I will prefer the eyeliner because I've already black eyelashes, so when I got up in the morning and I'm too lazy to use some mascara, no one will notice. But it's not that I use eyeliner every day because I'm just too lazy and prefer to stay in bed longer than doing my makeup. Seriously, doing your makeup is using so much time. *girl struggles* When I was little, everybody who saw me told me that I have huge dark circles. Life is just more fun when you're not sleeping asdfghjkl... So in conclusion, concealer is saving my terrible wake up face and it makes me look like I am ready for the day, sometimes...

Nails

I usually don't use nail polish because the result is nothing that I wanted, so sometimes I just give up. Acryl always look amazing, but it is not very handy, so I will go with natural. I have never try it with nailart but it always look awesome, so I definitely want to try.

I think body butter is way too fatty so I prefer to use lotion. But to be honest, I never tried body butter so maybe I will change my mind in the future. I just can't handle soap, because it's always slip out of my hands, and that's why I choose Douchegel.

Hairspray of Gel

Light or Dark

With straight hair you can do a lot of things and it's easier to handle I think. Because people I know that have curly hair always say it's difficult in the morning to do something with their hair. I have used gel once and it looked awful, so hairspray anyhow. I like long hair and I actually think that light hair is more beautiful than dark hair, however I have dark hair so that doesn't really make sense because I really don't hate my hair.

Random

I only like the sound of rain and when I'm inside but if I am outside a building then please give me sunshine. Not that you are going to melt but just warm enough to wear a t-shirt. So that's the reason why I choose both. I prefer the winter because you will not be sweating when you are outside, and if you are cold just wear some more. But in summer you can't be naked outside, right? Christmas is in it duh. Hot chocolate milk, everywhere lights and omg I am so excited. But summer is also fun though, sometimes. Autumn is actually a little bit the same as the reasons for winter and my birthday is in autumn and the leaves will be falling down and everything looks cosy and warm. Don't forget the lovely candles. And because in spring I will have hay fever. I like both flavours, but chocolate can be really dominant so I rather have vanilla.

How To Make Chocolate in shapes || Gwendolyne

Hello Everybody,

so recently I made these really cute chocolates in shapes of the card game of hearts, diamonds etc. I bought them in the summer of 2014 in Hong Kong and didn’t use them for a really long time so I started thinking why not? And look at it, how cute and adorable they are looking. And they are really good looking by the coffee or tea. So, today I’m going to show you guys how I made these.

What do you need?

• Hot water

• Chocolate (Milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate or other flavours that you like)

• A big and small bowl which is transparent

• Shapes

• A spoon and/or a fork (use the one you more prefer)

What to do?

Fill the small bowl with hot water and put the big bowl on the small bowl.(Pic. One) Try to find two bowls who fit perfectly on each other so no damp will disappear. Then choose one of the chocolates you have bought. I started with the milk chocolate. First just break them in pieces and put them in the big bowl (Pic. Two). Let them melt and stir it till it’s a smooth layer of chocolate with a spoon (Pic. Three, Four, Five and Six). Then use the spoon to fill in the shapes with chocolate (Pic. Seven).

Then I decided to do the dark chocolate. It’s the same routine as by the milk chocolate but I used less of it than by the milk chocolate because I am not really a fan of dark chocolate.

Lastly I did the same with white chocolate. And when all the shapes are filled up with chocolate you just have to put it in the fridge. There is no exact of time of how long they have to be in the fridge but just do what you think is right. :)

And when you get it out the fridge you just have to push the chocolates out of the shapes and you can serve it. In my opinion, it was a little bit thick for one bite but it is chocolate and chocolate is always fine. *laughing* it was really fun to do and it turned out so well. But it really use some of your time so if you start with it then be prepared for the time you have to use.

NYC and Catrice Cosmetics Review and Haul || Gwendolyne

Hello Everybody,

So yesterday, I went shopping with my friend and I bought these two products. I already used them both and now I’m going to give my opinion about it.

I’ve bought two products which were five euro together because it was a offer: two products for five euro. The first product is from NYC, which stands for New York Color. The product calls NYC Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder 722a. the second product is from Catrice and it calls Catrice Cosmetics Pure Shine Colour lip Balm 080 Sheer.

NYC COLOR WHEEL MOSAIC FACE POWDER 722A

This product of NYC is a powder for your face. When I tried this product for the first time is was being really careful. I’m so human that don’t like it when colours are all mixed up. At the white colour I really had to be careful. But it’s a really nice product and definitely worth the money. Of course powder is really transparent but if you used it you will totally see the difference.

CATRICE COSMETICS PURE SHINE COLOUR LIP BALM 080 SHEERS

This lip product is a lip balm with a quite light pink colour. I like the packing from the outside of it but what is a little disappointed about it, is how you turn the lip balm up. Because I’m one of the persons who don’t know how something like these packaging of products need to be used. That silver button at the end, is a button to turn up the lip balm or to turn down. Anyway, I did saw the text ‘ Twist here’ so I turned on it with the cap on it! I don’t think you need much of brain to know that the lip balm turned up to the maximal of the button until I noticed what I was doing. And that causes a dirty mess in the inside of my cap now. But this happened of course because I’m an idiot *laughs*. But it is a beautiful colour so I do recommend this product. Except if you are as silly as I am than, well just buy something else if you don’t want to make the inside of your cap dirty. I don’t know why, but I really don’t like it if that happen and it was just new! But okay, enough about my amazing lip balm story. It is a awesome colour and lip balm, except the package of it.

Haul

My Portugal and Spain Shop Haul || Gwendolyne

Hello Everybody,

So a few weeks ago, it was summer holiday. My family and I went to Portugal and Spain, Lisbon and Madrid. I've seen a lot of things and have eaten a lot of food, especially sushi. I love sushi.

But we do went to shopping too. I didn't buy too much and we just had a little time to shop. But here is my haul of shopping in Portugal and Spain.

My first item is a jegging that I bought by Primark. It's so much bigger the shops there compared to the Netherlands. I needed some jeans but because I'm really thin, it's difficult to find the right size for me and it's at the same time not too short.

After long searching, I found some jeggings. I decided to choose the colour indigo and took a size 36 with me. Back home, I discovered that the pants were way too big for me. Apparently I didn't try it right in Portugal, but I can still wear them so it's not a big problem.

○ Primark - € 8.00

The second item comes from a shop named Primor. You can see it as a Kruidvat (Dutch shop) but they only sale beauty and body products. I was just walking around in the shop when I saw this little sale. There were some products that were just € 1.00! Hashtag Sale is always good. So I chose this eyeshadow pallet with some lovely colours.

○ Pinkduck ~ London - € 1.00

The third item is a shirt from Mango Outlet. I really like this clothing. This is one of my favourite colours for clothing and it just fit me so good. And it's so comfortable! It was also not expensive and it's just so easy to wear it with so many styles.

I've search so long for this colour and everytime I finally found this colour it was always just not the style that I wear. So I was so happy when I found this shirt by the Mango Outlet.

The last item is a skirt. Okay, I have to admit that, that's the only skirt I have. Before I really don't had a skirt in my closet! But now, I have one and I like it so much. I's really stretchy and it's really comfortable. But I do prefer my jeans more. *Laughs*

There can be two opinions to this skirt. One side will say it's too boring. It doesn't have patterns or any colour, it's just black. The other side will love it. It's basic but easy to style. And black is always a good colour to wear. And I'm definitely on the side were black is just classic. Pattern doesn't really fit me... when we are talking about bottoms, haha.
